ABOUT THE GALLERY:
Since opening its doors in December 2001, the Hedi
Khorsand Gallery has made good on its promise to bring under-recognized artists
the public attention they deserve. In practice as an art consultant and private
dealer since 1998, Khorsand wanted to give wider exposure to many talented
artists she encountered in her work. Already the gallery has presented highly
successful exhibitions of sculpture by actor Paul Sorvino and paintings by the
late Paris based Polish artist Stanislaw Preysner. The paintings of Alejandro
Ortiz Mexia will be featured in May and June and the gallery will continue to
offer a wide range of painting, photography, works on paper and sculpture.
