Having been included in many exhibitions throughout Paris and Los Angeles, Leroux has enjoyed a successful career in France and the United States. Christophe Leroux's work strongly reflects the industrial and technological age we live in today. Whether on paper or on canvas, Leroux's abstract paintings stem from the urban, industrial and high tech world that surrounds us, and upon which we are dependent in our daily lives. The new technologies and inventions of today are symbolized in Christophe's work by his unique use of colors, lettering, and signs. In some works, Leroux creates forms by burning holes in the edge of the material in order to make a flat piece appear three dimensional and to give it an aspect of having "experienced life." Christophe Leroux's unique sculptures, magnificent oil paintings, and specially executed prints are in the corporate collections of General Motors France, Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, and in numerous private collections.
