"Les Yeux du Voyeur"

Themes that permeate my work continue in this series: emergence, duality, balance vs. imbalance in a physical sense and a psychological inference. One form emerges out of another form to endeavor to guide the eye of the viewer. Duality and Yin Yang can be seen in the contrasting use of materials, bronze for cold and wood for warmth. Duality is evident in changing textures ­ smooth to rough, one color into another, convex to concave, dark to light. These sculptures reflect the changing nature of our relationships, nothing is constant, all is impermanent. Jean Wolff
